The Kafue regions top concessions are known for very good lion and leopard along with some of the finest Sable trophies produced in Africa. Many indiginious species are also found in the Kafue concessions that are not found in many if any other areas of Africa such as the Crawshay's Defassa Waterbuck, Puku and Lichtenstein's Hartebeest. The Luangwa Valley is a premier destination for top class lion, good Leopard, excellent Buffalo and abundant overall plainsgame.

The Bangweulu swamps is the only destination available for the Black Lechwe and the Zambezi Sitatunga as the Kafue Flats is the only area also where the Kafue Flats Lechwe is found.
