Born in Zimbabwe and grew up in the hunting industry and a safari company family. Awarded 'Best PH' for Zimbabwe in 1997. Joined SwanScan in 1998 and has hunted in all areas of operation. Cliff is a very outgoing and extremely hard hunting PH who has produced excellent results. Filmed by Remington Outdoors in Tanzania during the 2001 season. Cliff will also be accompanying SwanScan clients into Ethiopia.

Luke Blackbeard
A Botswana citizen born in 1973 into a family who has been hunting professionally since 1960. Luke has taken exceptional trophies throughout his career. He is the primary PH on all SwanScan Botswana safaris. Luke has also hunted in North Cameroon and will be traveling to Zambia for safaris as well.

Bruce Watson
Bruce was born in 1973 in Zimbabwe. After schooling, he became a ranch assistant manager which included the management of the wildlife native to the area. Bruce has been professionally hunting since 1992 and most recently received 'Best Professional of the Year' award in 2000 for Zimbabwe. Bruce will be busy for SwanScan in their expansions in Zimbabwe as well as Tanzania.

Dave Rademeyer
Born in Zimbabwe and comes from a family of hunters. Has wealth of experience in Zimbabwe, Zambia, TZ and RSA. Dave is an extremely hard working PH and will be handling many safaris in Zambia, TZ and Zimbabwe for upcoming seasons as well as assisting with logistics and trophy shipping in all countries.

Russell Tarr
Russell was born in Zambia. He received his full PH license in Zimbabwe in 1986. He is currently fully licensed in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia. During his hunting career he has received numerous awards for his professionalism and trophy quality including Professional Hunter of the Year for Zimbabwe. Russell has been in the safari business almost 20 years.

Chris Burton
Chris Burton is a Zimbabwean born PH who has been hunting professionally for 9 years. He grew up on a game ranch in Zimbabwe and received his education in Zimbabwe and South Africa with a degree in Nature Conservation. His hunting experience is in Tanzania, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Awarded best Professional Hunter student in his year of qualification.

Clint Burton
Clint was born in Zambia. He grew up on his family's game farm in Zimbabwe so he started hunting at a very early age. Clint's primary and secondary schooling was in Zimbabwe and he also attended university in the UK. Clint received his initial PH license in Zimbabwe after finishing the rigorous apprenticeship training in 2001. Clint joined the SwanScan "team" for the 2005 season and will be hunting Zambia as well as other countries.

Adam Howard Davies
Born in Zimbabwe and educated in South Africa. Adam did a full four year apprenticeship under Doug Scandrol and Peter Swanepoel. Adam has extensive experience in Tanzania, Zambia and Hunting in South Africa. Adam comes from a professional hunting family and his father was a professional hunter as well. The primary focus for Adam in upcoming seasons will be hunting in South Africa.

Derick Furstenberg
Derick was born in South Africa into a Hunting Heritage. After completing High School he obtained a College Diploma in Wildlife Management. It was after this that Derick concluded the only true management of Wildlife was through controlled utilization. He obtained his full Professional Hunters License in South Africa in 2003, after a 4 year apprenticeship with S&S Safaris.

Chris Burnie
Chris's family has been in Botswana since 1947. Having grown up in Northern Botswana has given Chris the advantage to become very experienced at a young age from hunting big game areas as a child with his father and grand father. When he chose hunting as a profession Chris had the good fortune of training with some of the top PHs in the industry being Soren Lindstrom, Peter Hepburn and Ronnie Blackbeard amongst others. Chris has hunted in most of the areas in the Okavango Delta and extensive experience in the Chobe areas. Chris has been hunting professionally for eight years and joined SwanScan in 2007 on a full time basis.

Lance Nesbitt
Lance Nesbitt was born in Zimbabwe in 1969. He came from a farming family and started hunting from a young age, deciding to follow his passion into the safari industry. In 1993 he became a fully licensed PH in Zimbabwe where he has spent the last 13 years hunting dangerous game for the top companies there. He is currently on the Zimbabwe Professional Hunters and Guides committee and is involved with the examination process. Lance's focus will be on safaris in Zimbabwe and Tanzania and a welcome addition to the SwanScan team of professional hunters.

Mark Swanepoel
Mark grew up in Zambia on the family farm until 1993, he then moved to South Africa to complete his high school education. He attained a Diploma in Travel & Tourism and then completed a Graduate Diploma in Marketing by 2002. Mark then joined SwanScan in 2003 and attained his PH license in South Africa in December 2004 and most recently attained his PH license in Zambia towards the end of the 2007 season. He will continue in a logistical support and marketing capacity, while focusing on safaris in Zambia and South Africa.

Jacques Meyer
Jacques was born into a hunting family in 1982. He grew up in Zimbabwe where he spent all his school holidays in the bush hunting with his family. Jacques has experience in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania while doing his apprenticeship with several of the SwanScan PH's. Jacques has gained extensive experience in many aspects of the safari industry. Jacque started working for Swanepoel and Scandrol in 2006 and is currently in charge of operations in the Botswana division of the company while continuing his experience towards gaining his professional hunters license.
