Born in Zimbabwe and comes from a family of hunters. Has wealth of experience in Zimbabwe, Zambia, TZ and RSA. Dave is an extremely hard working PH and will be handling many safaris in Zambia, TZ and Zimbabwe for upcoming seasons as well as assisting with logistics and trophy shipping in all countries.
Mark grew up in Zambia on the family farm until 1993, he then moved to South Africa to complete his high school education. He attained a Diploma in Travel & Tourism and then completed a Graduate Diploma in Marketing by 2002. Mark then joined SwanScan in 2003 and attained his PH license in South Africa in December 2004 and most recently attained his PH license in Zambia towards the end of the 2007 season.
He will continue in a logistical support and marketing capacity, while focusing on safaris in Zambia and South Africa.
Russell was born in Zambia. He received his full PH license in Zimbabwe in 1986. He is currently fully licensed in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia. During his hunting career he has received numerous awards for his professionalism and trophy quality including Professional Hunter of the Year for Zimbabwe. Russell has been in the safari business almost 20 years.
Chris Burton is a Zimbabwean born PH who has been hunting professionally for 9 years. He grew up on a game ranch in Zimbabwe and received his education in Zimbabwe and South Africa with a degree in Nature Conservation.
His hunting experience is in Tanzania, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Awarded best Professional Hunter student in his year of qualification.
Clint was born in Zambia. He grew up on his family's game farm in Zimbabwe so he started hunting at a very early age. Clint's primary and secondary schooling was in Zimbabwe and he also attended university in the UK. Clint received his initial PH license in Zimbabwe after finishing the rigorous apprenticeship training in 2001. Clint joined the SwanScan "team" for the 2005 season and will be hunting Zambia as well as other countries.
Born in Zimbabwe and educated in South Africa. Adam did a full four year apprenticeship under Doug Scandrol and Peter Swanepoel. Adam has extensive experience in Tanzania, Zambia and Hunting in South Africa.
Adam comes from a professional hunting family and his father was a professional hunter as well. The primary focus for Adam in upcoming seasons will be hunting in South Africa.
Derick was born in South Africa into a Hunting Heritage. After completing High School he obtained a College Diploma in Wildlife Management.
It was after this that Derick concluded the only true management of Wildlife was through controlled utilization. He obtained his full Professional Hunters License in South Africa in 2003, after a 4 year apprenticeship with S&S Safaris.
