Booking Conditions

An initial deposit of 50% of the specified "Base Safari Rate" is required to confirm the safari. A "Payment Schedule" will be outlined in the client's safari agreement indicating due dates for additional payments. Failure to make payments timely, according to the schedule, could result in cancellation of the safari or delays in safari preparations.

Cancellation Policy

In the event Client cancels the safari more than nine (9) months prior to the safari commencement date, Client’s deposit, less an administration fee of $2,000.00, shall be refunded.

In the event Client cancels the safari less than nine (9) months prior to the safari commencement date but more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the safari commencement date, Client’s deposit shall be forfeited and retained by Swanepoel & Scandrol Safaris as liquidated damages unless Swanepoel & Scandrol Safaris is able to fill the same safari dates with a newly acquired client; only the Additional Fees paid by Client shall be refunded.

In the event Client cancels the safari less than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the safari commencement date, Client expressly understands and agrees that Client is absolutely liable to Swanepoel & Scandrol Safaris for the full, complete and total payment of the “Base Safari Rate” set forth in this Safari Agreement and all money paid prior to such cancellation shall be forfeited by Client and retained and applied by Swanepoel & Scandrol Safaris as a partial credit against the full and final payment of such liability for the “Base Safari Rate”.
